3B XO-Suit
A skinsuit made from alien material that acts as a protective layer for spacers braving the vacuum of space or wearing powered armor.
Brovila
A large, venomous worm on Meluvia that has a poisonous bite and a sturdy exoskeleton resembling bone.
Cel-tocs
Hyper-intelligent humanoid robots employed by the Alliance Navy typically for ship maintenance and tasks deemed too dangerous for organics.
Chiern
Crude Alliance Navy slang referencing reproductive organs.
Cruta
An insulting Vestalian word, lost in translation, roughly translated to: “insufferable person.”
Extraplanetary Spatial Operator (ESO)
A highly-trained member of the Alliance Navy with a distinct area of expertise, typically covert operations. The ESO designation only applies to recruits who graduate from the grueling Basic Land and Space Training (BLAST) program. While many aspire to be labeled ESO, the program remains exclusive, with only a few hundred members divided into small teams of 4-12, like the Nighthawks.
Las-sword
A dark, razor-sharp tech sword made from a rare Geralos ore. With a simple flick of a switch, a powerful white laser beam can be activated along the edge, capable of slicing through even the toughest armor.
Powered Armor Suit (PAS)
The Powered Armor Suit, or PAS, is the go-to for Extra-Spatial Operations. It is both flexible and protective, with a sleek design of layered armor plates over ceramic-metal mesh, suitable for long wear.
Rowcut
A Meluvian plant known for its potency and delicious taste. Equivalent to 12 cups of coffee, it also has aphrodisiac properties and is used in many medicines. However, overuse can lead to overdose and other complications, prompting the Alliance to ban it from their ships.
Schtill
A Vestalian term for fecal matter, often used to describe something unpleasant.
Thype
Spacer slang with a wide range of meanings but most commonly refers to engaging in sexual activity with a person or object. For example: “Thype the Navy and this duty. Next year this time I’ll be on Kimonat station, drunk out of my mind, thyping every Meluvian beauty willing to play.”
